Kristen’s graduation photo shoot in Houston, Texas was a dream. I didn’t want to stop taking photos!
Kristen recently graduated with her Masters of Public Administration degree and wanted to capture this life-moment, to commemorate her accomplishment. What an awesome way to document this time, with a diploma and a photo shoot to go along with it!
I grew up with Kristen and our mothers are best friends! I feel like a proud older sister, inspired by her achievements. When she reached out to me to take photos, I was thrilled.
Kristen is a smart young lady full of adventure and knowledge beyond her years. She has a great sense of humor and is loved by many. It was really easy taking photos of her – You can’t beat a client that will laugh at your corny jokes :). She is such a beautiful young lady and has a big heart. I am truly thankful to be her photographer!
Kristen drove from Austin, Texas, to Houston, Texas, the night before the shoot. She arrived into town rather late, but was excited for the shoot the next day! We got off to a good start and worked our way to some beautiful spots in Houston, Texas!
Kristen was clear that she wanted to incorporate nature into her photos and that is exactly what we did. We captured some of her photos along a lush ivy wall, which was appropriate because of the significance ivies have to her sorority. We also took some photos near a row of beautiful trees. Honestly, there were so many locations to choose from, it was hard to settle on just a few. Ultimately, we found our favorites and started snapping away!
I was so happy that the weather was perfectly overcast and the temperature was moderate. We really only needed a light jacket. Being in Houston, days, when there are no sunbeams and heat rays interfering with the shoot, are a blessing. We had plenty of shaded areas to take some fantastic shots!
Kristen, I am so very proud of your many accomplishments! You are such a bright young lady and deserve to be recognized. I know there is more education that you want to pursue and I wish you all the best in accomplishing your goals! I am so happy that you want to help shape people’s minds around their cultures! You will be a fantastic professor! Cheers to you and your continued success!
